1. What is the idea behind Billboard Auto?

The idea is simple...cover our vehicles with company logos. We are transforming new Nissan Xterras and Pathfinders into billboard automobiles. What better way to get someone's attention than to put vinyl stickers all over the white exterior?! It's an attention getter. Our vehicles drive to movie theaters, grocery stores, fast food drive thrus, in rush hour traffic, sporting events, multi-company expos, etc. They are moving billboards that are not restricted to one place or to just one company. They are unique. Our vehicles have an in-your-face approach that gets looks everywhere we go. TAKE A CLOSER LOOK.

2. Why should I buy ad space from you?

By purchasing ad space on our vehicles, you not only have your company being advertised every single time we start up the engine, you also receive internet exposure. These two different methods of advertising allow your company to be seen by potentially tens of thousands of customers each year. Plus, ourcost is much more affordable than almost any other avenue of advertising. Price out radio, newpaper, and television ads for a year and you'll be convinced.

3. How is it beneficial to me to have my company advertised with other companies?

When you advertise on our vehicles, you will talk about it to other people. When there are multiple companies taking up space and benefiting from our services, those companies are generating word-of-mouth traffic to the website where you will be listed as a client. Let the numbers work in your favor. This is an excellent opportunity for piggyback marketing. And just wait for tv and radio stations to start talking about it. The space on our vehicles is limited space and those that take advantage of it, will surely benefit.

4. Why do you have a size limitation on the ads?

The theory behind the Billboard Auto idea is to make the vehicle look as crazy as possible! The crazier it looks, the more people notice it. The smaller the ads, the more chaotic…perfect! Have you ever seen a car with a set of bull horns attached to the hood? Something about the horns (not being a normal ornament) caught your attention. That is what we are doing with the multiple ads. More companies result in more attention.

5. Isn't a smaller ad more difficult to read??

Exactly. We are using this to our favor. Vehicles that are wrapped to advertise for one single company are a dime a dozen. They are everywhere. Large single ads are sometimes noticed but quickly dismissed. Our mix of multiple companies grabs your attention and holds onto it. As more and more ads become available, the concept gets even better as a sales tool. We believe this is what people stare even longer...out of curiosity. Curiosity killed the cat and everyone who sees our vehicles will be curious as to what we are doing. "Why would anyone want to cover a new vehicle in stickers??" This is exactly what we like to hear.

6. What good is an ad if someone can't read it?

In addition to your ad placement on the vehicle, you have advertisement on the Billboard Auto website as well. The web address for BillboardAuto.com is clearly and boldly displayed on the windows of the vehicle. We are also using psychology to lure people to the website. We have "TAKE A CLOSER LOOK. VISIT US ONLINE" posted on the vehicles to give those looking, actual commands that the subliminal mind will listen to. When someone pulls up the website, your logo is visible and they can look at it along with a description of your company. You are getting twice the exposure! The ads are a stepping stone to the website, where potential customers look at your information at their leisure.

7. To what extent will you cover your vehicle(s) with advertising?

We are covering as much surface area as possible. We believe the more coverage, the better for all companies involved. The white painted areas are the most effective surface for placing the vinyl advertisements. The hood of the car will be covered last if needed but at this time, Billboard Auto does not have plans to do so. We are not placing any advertisements on the bumpers or plastic areas. The windows only have advertising for BillboardAuto.com for safety reasons as well as a way to enhance the website for your online exposure.

8. How many miles do you drive in a year?

We drive a minimum of 20,000 miles per year, per vehicle with an expected total above 25,000+. Trips throughout the year are not limited to just the Salt Lake City area. Our vehicles could be in California one week, Montana the next. Keep in mind that we have a vested interest to drive…we want the company to expand and be as successful as any advertising campaign in the country! Your success is our success.

9. Do you have monthly subscriptions?

At this time, we do not offer monthly subscriptions. With a one year commitment, we are able to include the cost of vinyl sticker and sales tax (UT residents). Also, the strategy is to have companies committed for an extended period of time to benefit from the extended exposure. The more often people see your company name/logo, the more likely it will come to mind when they need your particular services.

10. What if my business is not located in Utah? Would this still be beneficial to me?

Absolutely! This site opens the door for you to advertise all over the country. The internet has opened the door to the world and the world is focusing on the internet. Give this idea a short amount of time and we are positive the word-of-mouth exposure will benefit all of those involved. Our goal is to have companies from all over the United States as customers and also to expand with vehicles all over the United States..
